After the exit of Prakash Raj from Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Dil Raju has been in search of finding an apt replacement for the versatile actor. After considering various names such as Nazar, Mukesh Rushi, Chandra Mohan, Sathya Raj etc Dil Raju finally decided to cast Bollywood senior actor Anupam Kher.

Talks have been on and Anupam Kher doing the father role in SVSC is almost confirmed in that role. However, the actor said that nothing has been finalized yet. But buzz from Tollywood circles say he would be essaying the father role in SVSC. With Anupam's inclusion, there is another change done to the star cast of this film.

Jayasudha who was supposed to do the mother's character will now be replaced by Jayaprada. Exact reason for Jayasudha's replacement is not known. Jayaprada and Anupam Kher recently starred in a Malayalam film Pranayam and that might have something to do with this sudden and unexpected change.

Gabbar Singh movie shooting is almost done and the film is getting ready to strike the screens in this summer. As per director Harish Shankar, Gabbar Singh will be released on May 9th. Seems like, Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is making all the right moves to prove his mettle in the Hindi Film Industry. He is taking utmost care in his Bollywood debut, which happens to be the remake of Amitabh Bachchan's landmark film 'Zanjeer'.

Apart from focusing on toning the muscles to suit the role of a tough cop, Charan is making sure that he has a good command of the Hindi language, before his B-Town debut film goes to the floors. He also has the backing of good producers Amit Mehra (S/o Prakash Mehra who directed and produced 'Zanjeer' original) and Reliance, who are ready to spend a bomb on the film.

Ram Charan, who is Bollywood's next angry young man, is acting like a true professional and this kind of commitment will help him in building stronger relationships and a good reputation wherever he goes. Charan have come a long way, but he still have a long way to go.

Kingfisher model Poonam Pandey broke her silence finally and has taken a dig at actress Chitrangada Singh, who has mocked the hottie for her stripping act.

"People are using my name to garner publicity. Its so funny how the people who know the least about you, have the most to say," Poonam tweeted reacting to Chitrangada's tweet.

"Jealousy: That's what makes a bitch talk. TweetHearts!!! there is this Actress she had 700 followers since many months started using my name now has 1300+ in a day...hahah how cheap any one can be arrey yaar itna bhi "Garib" mat bano . Earlier, Chitrangada Singh made fun of Poonam for her striptease acts on the social networking site, Twitter. "How do you compete with Poonam Pandey, when she is ready strip for kabbadi matches?. Though I have never met Poonam and no personal agenda, but guess she does her bathroom rituals everyday and in sometimes that involves striping,"

The pre-release business of Young Tiger NTR's commercial entertainer 'Dammu' is already making a lot of noise. If the reports are to believed, the film has fetched a whooping amount of about Rs 40 crore for theatrical rights and another Rs 6-7 crore for audio and satellite rights.

However, the critics were having a heartly laugh observing the developments and they have got a reason for it. Actually, the distributors and exhibitors of 'Dammu' could recover their investments only if the film manages to recovers atleast Rs 45-50 crores at the Box Office and to enter into the profit zone the film should generate over Rs 50 crores revenue. Sadly, none of the films of NTR has generated a share equal or more than Rs 45 crore till date. The distributors and exhibitors have paid record amounts to the makers and risked their lives by blindly trusting the combination of NTR and hat-trick director Boyapati Seenu.

"No doubt that NTR is one of the Top Stars in the Industry. But, he is still unable to cross that Rs 45 crore mark. Now, this benchmark has turned out to be a biggest barrier for him. None of his film generated Rs 45 crore share, while his contemporary heroes Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan managed to cross the Rs 70 crore mark. Will NTR achieves it with Dammu is to be seen!," said a senior film critic.

Ultimately, the game is to be played on the field, but not on paper. So, what matters is 'How much revenue the film has generated at the Box Office?' Let's hope, NTR willn't miss this point!!!

Racha audio songs promos are out and after listening to the songs one gets a feeling that Ram Charan is attempting an out and out mass film. Although the title suggests that it is a mass film, audio gives clear idea about how massy the film would be. Racha title song despite the silly lyrics will be the best among the album after hearing all the song promos.

Ram Charan tried to experiment after Orange, but the film flopped big time leaving Cherry in big worry. So he is trying a full on mass masala film as films like these rarely misses the target. Coming to the audio promos, first impression of Vaana Vaana velluvaye remix doesn't live up to the expectations. Choice of singers and the echo sound has killed the beautiful composition.

Genius director Mani Rathnam’s new film Kadal (Kadali in Telugu) shooting started in Manapad. It is a coastal village that lies between Tuticorin and Tiruchendur. This film is a love story with a different backdrop.

Popular Tamil actor Karthik’s son Gautham is playing the lead role in Kadal. Samantha is roped into play the female lead. Lakshmi Manchu is doing a key role. Arjun plays the antagonist and Aravind Swamy does a crucial character in the movie.

AR Rahman is scoring the music for Kadal. Like every Mani Rathnam’s film, this is also surrounded by high expectations.

Balakrishna and Manchu Manoj are doing a socio fantasy film titled Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara, which is also being dubbed in Tamil. Manchu Manoj is directing the action part of this film. Right now he is directing an action episode on Balakrishna and Sonu Sood.

Manoj said that he is a bit nervous to direct Balakrishna, but is hoping to pull it off in style. Manoj has been directing the action episodes in his films in the recent past. His action choreography for Bindaas won lot of acclaim.

Manoj’s Mr. Nookaiah too has the action part directed by Manoj. He says that this film would be one of the greatest action films ever on Telugu screen.

Hero Ram will be doing his next film under the direction of Bhaskar of Bommarillu fame. This film will be produced by BVSN Prasad. Ram confirmed that he has agreed to do this project after his current film Endukante Premanta.

One of the busy heroines is going to be paired up with Ram in this movie. Bhaskar is back to work after a hiatus. He has been out of action after his film Orange bombed at the box office. He prepared a subject that caters to the youth and families which was instantly liked by Ram.

Ram is currently busy with the work of Endukante Premanta at the moment. He has been dubbing for the film in Telugu and Tamil. The Tamil version of this movie is titled Yen Endraal Kadhal Enbein.

Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh movie is wrapping up at a fast pace. Director Harish Shankar told that the film’s shoot is almost done. He announced that the film will release on May 9. Unless there is any unexpected delay in the post production, Gabbar Singh will release on the announced date.

Recently released teaser was very well received by the fans. The teaser has brought instant craze to the movie. Gabbar Singh is a remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg, starring Salman Khan. Producer Bandla Ganesh is expecting similar reception for the movie from Telugu audience.

Hollywood science fiction adventure film John Carter is releasing worldwide on March 9. This film is dubbed in Telugu as Maha Veerudu. The Telugu dubbing rights of this film were brought by RR Movie Makers.

All the films made by RR Movie Makers in the recent past have done well at the box office. They are expecting Maha Veerudu to continue their dream run. John Carter is also releasing in Tamil and Hindi on March 9. Andrew Stanton directed this film.

Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, Samantha Morton and Mark Strong played the key roles in this movie. Walt Disney Pictures is distributing this film in US and other countries.

Daruvu movie starring Raviteja and Taapsee is currently in the last stages of production. Right now the climax of this film is being shot at the exteriors of Hyderabad. The film’s shoot will wrap up by March 16.

Post production work will be done in the month of April and the movie will be released on May 4. Daruvu is a brand Raviteja film with his trademark entertainment. Director Shiva of Souryam fame is directing this movie.

Raviteja’s last two films didn’t do well at the box office. His fans would be hoping that he will bounce back with Daruvu.

Noted Item Girl Alfonsa has attempted suicide on Monday and she is currently battling for her life at the intensive care unit of a private hospital in Chennai.

Two days back, Alfonsa's boyfriend Vinod Kumar committed suicide after a heated argument and clash with the actress. Angered with the death of Vinod, his family had filed a complaint against the actress that she herself had killed their son.

Upset with the developments, Alfonsa took sleeping pills in high doses. She was rushed to the nearby hospital and the doctors have said that her condition is critical. Alfonsa starred in a hand full of films in Tollywood. Her role in 'Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi' opposite Comedian Ali has brought her accolades as a artist and she also did a small cameo in Chiranjeevi's graphical wonder 'Anji'.

Young Tiger Jr NTR’s 'Dammu' movie is gearing up for April release. The audio of this movie will be launched on March 24 at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad. Songs are being marketed by Vel Records. MM Keeravani is the music director for this film. MAA TV is likely to telecast the live.

Dammu is currently being shot in Ramoji film City and the unit is in a way to finish the movie with this schedule. Trisha and Karthika are the female leads in this film. Boyapati Srinu is directing this movie under the Creative Commercials banner produced by KS Rama Rao and Alexander Vallabha.

Dammu is touted to be a mass action entertainer in which NTR essaying dual role. The movie is expected to release on April 19.
